Disconnect from the worries of the world and reconnect with yourself when you spend time in the outdoors. Nestled between the Platte and Wood Rivers, Bader Park features 35 RV camping sites, 15 tent camping sites, 6 miles of hiking trails, 5 fishing lakes, and a sandy beach for swimming. With us, you can enjoy many outdoor activities and create memories you ’ll remember for a long time to come. Whether you stay the night or just a day trip, it will be time well spent!

Bader Park is ran by the 501.3(c) nonprofit Platte PEER Group. We rely on volunteers and passionate individuals to keep Bader running and open to the public. We strive to provide a safe and educational area for people to explore the outdoors. Contact us if you want to get involved!
Offering 6 miles of hiking trails that weave through the Platte River basin, cottonwood forests, prairies, around lakes, and the Wood River you are sure to find some wildlife and plants! Guided hikes with a naturalist are held periodically, be sure to check our Facebook events for upcoming hikes!
One of the best beaches in the area! There are picnic tables and volleyball nets on the beach all summer for you to use! A multitude of trees are surrounding the beach, so a break from the sun is easy to find. The playground and restrooms are close by for when you need them. Swimming is available from Memorial Day to Labor Day, sunrise till 8 pm.
With 7 ponds and two rivers to choose from, the fishing opportunities are endless! Frequently fish caught include catfish, blue gill, Asian carp, small and large mouth bass. Don't have a pole? Don't worry, we have poles and tackle available for rent in the office! Near the picnic shelter we have an accessible pier and wildlife viewing platform with a pavement sidewalk. Nebraska Fishing license required for anyone over the age of 16. All state fishing regulations must be followed. Click here for Nebraska permits and regulations
