Our mission is simple. We want to make our community a better place through education and the enlisting of our citizens to provide safe places for outdoor recreation.

People- We provide the public areas to explore the outdoors

Education - We strive to provide education about our natural areas

Environment- We promote sustainability and stewardship of the land

Recreation - We manage and improve areas for outdoor recreation 

Founded in 2003, Platte PEER Group continues to strive to expand its programs and offerings to the community at Bader Memorial Park and Dark Island Trail. We hope that you will be able to take part in one or more of the many exciting events that we are offering this year and experience firsthand the pride we take in providing outdoor recreation and education. 

In order to meet our mission and provide services in our community, we rely on volunteers and the generosity of individuals and businesses for support. Without the assistance of community-minded individuals just like you, we wouldn't be able to serve those in our community each year.
